How it Works

Start by booking an appointment with us. You can easily do this through our online booking system, or by giving us a call. Choose a date and time that works best for you, and let us know the type of braiding service you’re interested in. Pay deposit through our booking system to secure your appointment.

Please ensure to arrive at appointment with hair fully washed and blown out from root of hair to top of hair with no products in hair at all. Remember to provide expression packs for braids as detailed for the particular service. For human hair it’s best to buy this from us as we provide the best human hair, there is an option to add this when you book

Our skilled stylists will begin braiding your hair using the style you’ve chosen. This process will take the allotted time that the hairstyle requires when you booked your style. We offer high-quality hair expressions and products to ensure your braids look stunning and long lasting.

Once your braids are complete, we’ll style them to your liking, whether that’s leaving them down, pulling them up into a bun, or any other style you prefer. We’ll also provide tips on how to maintain your braids to keep them looking fresh.

Before you leave, we’ll give you personalized aftercare instructions to help you take care of your braids. We’ll also recommend products that are best suited for maintaining your braids and keeping your scalp healthy.

We recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment for maintenance to keep your braids looking their best. This might include touch-ups around the edges or refreshing your scalp. You can book a maintenance session online or call us to find a convenient time.

Candidates for Knotless Braids

  • Hair Length: Braids typically work best on hair that is at least 3-4 inches long. This length allows the braids to hold securely and reduces the risk of them unraveling. However, extensions can be used to achieve longer braids even if your natural hair is shorter.
  • Hair Health: Healthy hair and scalp are important for braiding. If you have a sensitive scalp, hair damage, or conditions like alopecia, consult with a stylist to discuss the best options. Braids should not cause pain or excessive tension, as this can lead to breakage or hair loss.
  • Hair Type: Braids can be done on all hair types—curly, coily, wavy, or straight. However, those with naturally curly or coily hair often find braids particularly beneficial as a protective style to manage their hair and reduce daily manipulation.
  • Lifestyle Considerations: Braids are a low-maintenance hairstyle that can last several weeks, making them ideal for busy individuals, travelers, or those looking to take a break from daily hair styling. If you prefer a set-it-and-forget-it style, braids might be perfect for you.
  • Commitment: Braids require a time investment both during installation and in maintenance. Depending on the style, braiding can take several hours, and you’ll need to care for your braids by keeping your scalp moisturised and wrapping your hair at night.

Yes, you can wash your braids, but it’s important to do so gently to avoid frizz and maintain the integrity of the braids. Use a diluted shampoo and focus on cleaning the scalp. Avoid heavy rubbing or scrubbing.

Our stylists are trained to braid gently to minimize discomfort. While some clients may experience slight tightness initially, the braiding process should not be painful. If you feel any pain or excessive tightness, please let us know immediately.

Keep your scalp moisturised with light oils or sprays, and avoid scratching. Use a silk or satin scarf or bonnet at night to protect your braids and reduce frizz. Cleanse your scalp regularly to prevent buildup.
